Partnership between the Asian Institute of Management (AIM), Philippines and Doers

In January 2021, the Asian Institute of Management (AIM), Philippines entered a partnership with Doers with an objective to expose the students enrolled in the 'Executive Master in Disaster Risk and Crisis Management (EMDRCM)' program to real-life problems and working in the field of disaster risk reduction and management, crisis and emergency management, humanitarian assistance, organizational resilience, climate change resilience and other related fields. The AIM is an international management school and research institution and one of the few business schools in Asia to be internationally accredited with the AACSB. The Stephen Zuellig Graduate School of Development Management of the AIM runs the EMDRCM program.

As a part of this partnership, Team Doers facilitated cross-sectoral immersion of three EMDRCM students, namely- Mr. Jan Jansalin, Mr. Ramon Tagle and Ms. Kessica Bersamin and guided them to integrate their knowledge in different aspects of disaster risk governance. As a part of their immersion program, the students contributed to the development of thematic guidance materials related to disaster risk management for different sectors.
